Our Menus

At Rashi's Childminding, we have a weekly menu that allows children to broaden their horizons and encourages them to eat different types of food and be willing to eat anything.

Children are provided with breakfast, a morning snack and a hot cooked lunch ,unless we are on a big adventure and then we tend to take a picnic.  They are also provided with a light afternoon snack so you can enjoy your family tea time together at home . 

A Little Bit About Our Menus

 

At Rashi’s childminding, we pride ourselves in the range of cultures our menu is inspired from and we work hard to include every child’s background. We believe it is important for the children to experience a vast range of dishes and cultures to encourage them to not being fussy with their food from an early age.

When designing our menus we follow NHS Startwell guidelines to ensure the children are given nutritious meals that will help them to start a healthy lifestyle. We ensure to decrease our sugar and salt levels to a minimum while increasing our vitamin and other healthy food groups. Our meals come from a range of countries. We make sure to prepare meals that satisfy the children’s appetites until the next meal to keep them alert and happy – as a hungry child is neither. All our meals are prepared at the setting and food is served to the children freshly made.
