 EYFS - Specific Areas

The specific areas are also fundamental throughout the Early Years Foundation Stage, particularly for those children aged 3-5.  They help children learn the knowledge and skills required to participate successfully in society.

"The specific areas include essential skills and knowledge. They grow out of the prime areas,  and provide important contexts for learning."
